After a memorable and highly successful 22 seasons in the Birmingham League, the 1st XI return to the Shropshire League in 2025. The Cricket Meadow men secured promotion to one of the most competitive cricket leagues in the country when they won the SCCL Premier League title back in 2002, and since managed to punch well above our weight against some high-level opposition. But with the amateur cricket scene changing hugely in recent years, we approach next summer with a new outlook and renewed vigour.

Bridgnorth Cricket Club will be fielding four senior sides in the SCCL next summer, with the 1st and 2nd XIs playing on Saturdays, whilst the 3rd XI will move to playing on Sundays in conjunction with the 4th XI. As a result, all teams will be playing their home matches at Cricket Meadow.

As a club we are greatly looking forward to seeing all of our sides getting back into league action next year, with more regular opportunities for our talented youngsters to get out in the middle alongside our senior players.

New players are also welcomed and encouraged to come and join us for next season, as we look to further bolster our senior squads.
