The brother and sister shared a 67-run opening stand for the 4th XI on Sunday; Rahul Kaushal top-scored with 58 for the 1st XI on Saturday...

Despite another tough weekend for Bridgnorth's senior teams, history was once again made as Huw and Angharad Morgan put together the highest batting partnership by a brother and sister in senior cricket at Cricket Meadow.

Their opening stand was the key to the 4th XI's final total of 151 on Sunday, with skipper Max Hopson also contributing 20 himself. George Barnsley, Neve Crann, Will Scott and Rhona Ferrans then took a wicket apiece in the second innings, but Broseley's successful run-chase was spearheaded by captain Dan Handley's unbeaten century.

The first, second and third teams were all ultimately well beaten on Saturday as they took on much stronger oppositions. Peter Thompson and Guy Black hit the lions share of the runs for the 3rd XI against Iscoyd at Quatt, before George Barnsley chipped in with a wicket in the following chase. Second team captain Lewis Hurdley top-scored with 30 for the 2nd XI at Frankwell, and Freddie Ward dismissed opposition captain Michael Turner with the first ball of the second innings, before the hosts reached their target.

An opening stand of 177 proved a winning foundation for Old Hill's win at Cricket Meadow on Saturday, despite Bridgnorth's best efforts in the field. Zak Abbas took 2-64 with the ball, whilst Peter Scott, Faz Rahman and Jenson Caine all picked up a wicket each, but a number of half chances didn't quite go the way of the home side as the first innings finished on 270-5.

Rahul Kaushal then stood firm at the top of the order to compile a classy half century, but the visitors' bowling attack chipped away at the other end to dismiss the hosts for 129.
